Amazon Fresh has expanded its London delivery area, adding 59 postcodes in North, East and South London to its roster.

Amazon Prime members in 128 London postcodes are now able to use Amazon Fresh, 59 more than the 69 originally launched earlier this month.

The new postcodes are in North, East and Southeast London and include Bexley, Greenwich and Haringey.

Customers living or working in N1, EC1 and E14 (Hackney, the north of the City, and Tower Hamlets, home to Canary Wharf) have so far completed the most Amazon Fresh orders. The most popular order window is between 5pm and 6pm.

Amazon Fresh sells goods supplied by local food producers and artisan bakeries from locations including Borough Market and Notting Hill as well as thousands of lines by famous brands including Coca Cola, Walkers, Kellogg’s, Danone and Morrisons’ own label lines.

It sells 130,000 SKUs spanning the fresh, frozen and ambient food categories, as well as household goods, health and beauty lines, pet supplies and baby products.

Amazon Fresh vice president Ajay Kavan said: “The initial response we have received from customers in the capital has been very positive. We are honing and improving our offer based on customer feedback and will continue to do so as we open up the service to an even greater number of Londoners.”
