Halfords is slashing the prices of its bikes this Black Friday and Cyber Monday as the retailer invests more heavily in the shopping extravaganza this year.

The retailer is offering customers large savings on its cycles range with its Voodoo Horde BMX, currently £319, down to £108 for Black Friday. Its Apollo Digby Boys Bike will retail for £44.10, down from £119.99 while its Apollo Cherry Lane Bike will save shoppers £116.99 when it goes on sale for £63.

The retailer will cut the prices of all of its Nextbase DVD Players by 20% while its Autoglym Perfect Bodywork Gift Collection will be on sale for £12, down from £29.99.

Halfords said it is expecting to take 500 orders in its peak hour over the two big shopping days. On Black Friday, the retailer is forecasting that 250,000 people will visit its website, resulting in 7,000 orders.

“Our customers expect big deals and Black Friday marks the beginning of Christmas shopping for lots of families. We’re investing more this year than ever before to bring unmissable offers to our customers,” said Halfords head of digital Katrina Jamieson.
