Health is expected to be popular this Christmas as retailers forecast fitness-tracking technology and blenders to top wish lists.
Currys & PC World head of mobile computing and connectivity Rupert Nichols says the retailer expects to sell a lot more wearable technology this Christmas “as everyone will want to trim up in the New Year.”
The pre-eminent wearable technology device of the moment is the Samsung Gear Fit, which equips the user with instant notifications and tracks fitness goals.
Samsung’s device is set to dominate unless arch-rival Apple brings out its much-rumoured iWatch before Christmas.
