All remaining La Senza stores are set to close after a buyer failed to come forward for the collapsed lingerie retailer.

Administrator PwC called time on its two-month-long search for a white knight for La Senza.

The retailer had 55 stores when it plunged into administration in July, of which 30 have already closed. The remaining stores will close over the next few weeks, according to the Sunday Times.

La Senza hit the buffers just two years after the UK division of middle eastern trading house Alshaya bought La Senza out of administration in a pre-pack deal in 2012.

When it fell into administration PwC said that it had “experienced very difficult trading conditions”.
