I wonder how many shops have moved into Woolworths leaving other untis empty.

In Luton, just prior to woolworths going bust they pulled and M&S took the unit, as yet there has been no taker on the old M&S unit.

Other local stores including Dunstable, Hitchin, St Albans, Bedford, Hemel and Milton Keynes still have the To Let sign hoisted high. Only Leighton Buzzard has found a taker.

I suspect some of these shops may be empty for many years to come, and Watford Council should be commended for their action in trying to prevent a large empty unit blighting the town centre.
