Laura Weir
Laura Weir started at Drapers as an intern five years ago and has worked her way up to become the magazine’s fashion editor. Laura is responsible for the magazine’s fashion content and writes, edits and builds copy for Drapers online and the magazine. Laura has interviewed the biggest names in fashion retail and regularly shares her extensive industry knowledge at Drapers’ sister event Pure London, where she speaks on the main catwalk about product and trend. Laura manages the fashion team and overseas the production of Drapers bi-annual look book series which showcases the best of branded product and buying advice for the season ahead. Laura has also held a senior position on the Drapers news desk where she wrote exclusive fashion news for the magazine and website, and she has also worked at Retail Week as a reporter. Laura frequently travels overseas to cover fashion trade shoes and designer catwalks and is available for fashion and trend commentary on a variety of subjects from high street fashion to couture.
