CBI Distributive Trades Survey
The Distributive Trades Survey (DTS) covers 20,000 outlets of firms responsible for 40 per cent of employment in retailing. It includes measures of sales activity across the distributive trades.
ONS Retail Sales Index
The ONS Retail Sales Index contains a first estimate of retail sales index numbers on volume and value of retail sales; seasonally adjusted and not seasonally adjusted, for all retailers.
BRC Retail Sales Monitor
The Retail Sales Monitor measures changes in the actual value of retail sales and has now developed into a key UK economic indicator. Produced by the British Retail Consortium, the leading trade association for UK retailing.
