Experian Footfall

Experian Footfall data for week 11, 2011

March 14 2011 to March 20, 2011

  • Footfall increased by 3% week on week – a reasonable increase on a flat variance the week before. Much of the UK experienced some sunshine and higher temperatures over the weekend, which would have driven shoppers away from shopping centres to the outdoors.
  • Footfall decreased in retail parks by 1.4% week on week and dropped by 1% year on year. The year-on-year footfall, although down, was still more favourable than shopping centre growth. Retail parks have shown stronger year-on-year growth cumulatively this year, but this week their footfall was more in line with shopping centres’.
