Hennes & Mauritz (H&M) is one of Europe’s largest and most influential clothing retailers, with some 2,100 stores in 26 countries in 2012. H&M targets the value end of fast fashion, selling womenswear, menswear, childrenswear and cosmetics. The UK – sales of approaching £720m in 2010/11 – is now H&M’s third largest market after Germany and the USA.
