Developer Capital Shopping Centres has completed its extension and remodelling of The Glades in Bromley.

The work has added 50,600 sq ft (4,700 sq m) of retail space to the scheme. The extension includes a 30,000 sq ft (2,790 sq m) medium-sized unit, which value fashion retailer H&M has taken, and five smaller stores.

The extension has also attracted Mango, which has opened a 2,400 sq ft (225 sq m) store at the scheme and Body Shop, which has relocated from Bromley High Street.

Capital Shopping Centres managing director Kay Chaldecott said: "We are delighted that, following the completion of the remodelling, The Glades is able to provide first-class accommodation to successful, quality retailers."
